Brand Identity: design that focuses on the visual identity of your company or product, such as logos, website branding, company letterhead, business cards, signage, and company brochures. Consistency is key so that your brand stands out in the minds of your customers. This is the start of building loyalty and shared values with the community and consumers.
Print Design: design that is meant to be viewed in a physical capacity, such as brochures, flyers, billboards, stickers, stationery sets, T-shirts, mugs and other products.
Digital Media: design that is created and produced for viewing on a screen, such as social media, banner ads, email campaigns and website elements.
My services are tailored to fit you needs, no matter what stage of business you’re in. We’ll work together along the way to ensure you’re satisfied and all your requirements are being met. The process always begins with the design brief. This is the first and most important step. It’s where I learn about the way you think, learn about the product or service you offer or the message you want to convey, and then define the specific requirements of the brief.
After the design brief, I’ll start creating design concepts to share with you. Although I present a range of ideas, I usually have a preferred option, and will explain how I came to that solution and talk you through my thinking on each option.
Once we have agreed on a direction, I’ll work to finalize the design(s) and deliver all the items you need to make your project a success.
For example, I offer multiple packages for logo design, depending on what your specific needs are:
BASIC / You know what you’re looking for, have a sketch, or existing logo that needs work.
STANDARD / You have an idea of what you want, but need to see more options.
PROFESSIONAL / You are not quite sure what you want, and need a wider variety to choose from.
To begin, I’ll have you complete a questionnaire to establish your design needs (part of the design brief). Then I’ll present design concepts to you. Upon final approval of the chosen design, you’ll receive the original vector artwork files* (.ai, .eps) along with all the file formats you’ll need to start branding your business (.jpg, .png. gif. .pdf), that you own all final rights to.
With the completion of your project, you become an owner of the copyright for your logo design. I do reserve the right to display any artwork, ideas or sketches created for your project in my portfolio or case studies, in various online galleries and in logo process posts as examples of client work. If you are uncomfortable with this, I ask that you mention that upfront, as additional fees may apply.
*Vector files are important because they are made of lines and shapes, instead of pixels. This allows you to resize that logo without making it blurry (or “pixelated”) which is especially critical when having your logo professionally printed. Additionally, designing a logo in vector format results in a crisper, cleaner look on websites and other marketing materials.

Brand Usage Guides help establish your visual brand identity. This guideline provides you with the information you will need (best logo usage/practices, color palette(s), fonts, etc.) to create cohesive, branded designs on your own, using DIY platforms like Canva or VistaPrint.
Branding Retainer
